Christmas Message from Veronica Tan

Christmas is a time for giving, sharing and loving one another, and every time Christmas comes about, I ask myself,

“How much have I given back to the world?”

The answer always is, “never enough”.

In my role in Success Resources, I not only oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, but also what’s going on in each and every country we’re in. We’re committed to “Changing Lives Globally”, but can all of us do more?

This year, I may have found an answer, and would like to share this 2-word insight with you:

“Start Small”

We’re constantly changing lives globally in Success Resources, but this would not be possible without the loving support of my family and the unwavering loyalty of my staff worldwide. Of course, we shouldn’t take them for granted, and if we want to change the world, we have to start with ourselves and the people around us.

I would like to share with you 2 tips with you to help you take your first baby steps towards changing lives globally.

1) Love yourself

To create an impact on the world, you must first create an impact on yourself, and how can you see the change you want around you if you do not have it in you? Thus, if we have not already, we must learn to accept who we are and acknowledge that we too must be loved before embarking on the process of change.

Like everyone else, I too have my own faults, but with the help of my family and team, I too am constantly improving as a person.

2) Love others around you

In the events and seminars industry, it can be tiring – especially for my staff on the ground – to run numerous events (sometimes back-to-back too!). It’s at this stage that everyone feels down and morale is low, but I make it a point to ensure that everyone is still loved as much as the first day they stepped into Success Resources.

Showing your love to others can comprise of small actions; a pat on the back, a word of encouragement, or maybe even making a quick coffee run when they’re swarmed with work. With small actions, you can achieve big results.

I hope that what I’ve shared with you will help you kick start your journey to changing yourself, the people around you, and countless lives globally.

Have a Blessed Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
