2019 is right around the corner.
So, what is your new year’s resolution?
Some of your friends on Facebook and Instagram may be happily posting and sharing their goals for 2019 already.
And you saw how pumped and excited they were – to smash their goals this time around.
Or whatever dream goals that they may have.
You secretly wished you could do the same, and be as awesome too.
Then as you sit by yourself… this question flashed through your mind.
“But…what if I don’t have a new year’s resolution?”
And how do I know, if it’s the right kind of goal for me?
Aren’t we supposed to have 101 goals and achieve them every time, like everyone else?
That’s where you need to STOP for a moment.
When you are being bombarded from every corner online with…
It’s no wonder you and I get lost and confused sometimes.
To the point that we may not even set ANY goals for ourselves anymore.
Because we are afraid of not hitting them, and disappointing ourselves in the end.
So, what can we do?
Go to a nice, quiet spot.
And begin writing about what you want.
The key here is to just write for about 20 minutes or so. Even longer if you need to.
The act itself will train your mind to disconnect from the distracted world. And it actually allows you to focus.
Remember, ‘’what you seek, is seeking you’’ – Rumi
The ONE biggest reason why people don’t achieve their dreams is because they don’t know what they want in the first place.
How can a person hit the target, if he doesn’t know where it is?
Most of us only have a vague picture, of what it means to have what we want.
Clarity is power.
So instead of setting 101 goals in 2019 and not achieving any of them and feeling miserable all year long…
How about focusing on just ONE major goal?
One that is achievable.
And you will discover it when you spend more time knowing yourself through your writings.
